Important Dates to Remember:

November 11th -  Remembrance Day no school.

November 14th
There is a Parent Council meeting at 7:00pm All parents are welcome to attend. There will be a SKILL class presentation to the board.

November 15th
Pyjama day students are welcome to come to school in there favourite PJ's.

November 21st and 22nd 
Student-led conferences. Information for booking times will be sent home in the communication books next week.

November 22nd
No school for students.

November 28th
Simons Valley School - Night if Giving information will be coming home closer to the date.


In Class:    Students have been working very hard and are proud of what they have done. We are encouraging all students to try to be as independent as they can when doing desk work.

We have had several students go home with flu-like symptoms. The entire class has been disinfected today ( Nov. 8th) in the hopes of stopping the spread of germs. If you suspect your child is ill or has a fever please keep them at home.

The students have practiced all the sight words and we have built sentences for practice. Thank you to all you parents who have been practicing at home. WAY TO GO!

A New set of sight words will be coming soon. YAY

REMEMBER Library day is every Tuesday morning. Students who return their books will be allowed to take out new ones.
